What he said was basically:
Love what you do
Try hard at what you're doing
Have fun doing what you love
Don't give up
Push yourself
Do your best
But I think the most important one is the passion. Because if you have passion for what you're doing it will make everything like persisting and doing work so much easier and worth your wild. I'm sure Bill Gates has a passion for making easy to use computers and building up technology. If he didn't he would be no where near as successful as he is today.
